Spot a wired contract with Risk Radar

Finding & Scoring RFPsUpdated August 3, 2026

Some contracts are effectively decided before they post. Risk Radar, shown on every opportunity, flags signals that a bid may be wired or that the incumbent carries risk, so you can decide with eyes open.

What Risk Radar checks

Each opportunity gets a composite rating, Clear, Watch, or High risk, built from independent sources:

  • SAM exclusions. Whether the incumbent is debarred or excluded.
  • Federal audit findings. Material weaknesses or deficiencies from single-audit records.
  • Cyber urgency (CISA KEV). Known exploited vulnerabilities referenced in the scope.
  • SEC filings. Public-company filing freshness for the incumbent, where applicable.

How to read it

High risk means at least one serious signal, such as a debarment or a material audit finding. Watch means softer signals worth a look. Clear means nothing concerning surfaced. Use the evidence links to see the source before you decide. For the full playbook, see our guide on how to spot a wired contract.
